简 介
1920年代，美国东南方的佛罗里达州座著两个相临的小镇。一个贫穷荒凉，居民以白人居多；另一个则是富饶繁荣的黑人城镇─罗斯伍德。原本即存在的种族紧张态势，因一名白人妇女误控有陌生黑人袭击她而更加不可收拾。白人暴民开始泄愤式地疯狂杀害罗斯伍德镇民，大批无辜的妇孺被迫逃离家园。此时，一个白人商店老板与一个老兵却打破种族藩篱，帮助许多老弱居民躲避残酷的暴行。只是，他们将带著无止境的恐惧，永不得返乡...
