简 介
改编自尤金．贝狄克和哈维．威尔勒的作品，是一部从美苏对峙的冷战形势引伸出来的“写实幻想片"。内容讲述由于机械失误的关系，美国轰炸机队出发轰炸莫斯科，美国总统在无法唤回轰炸机之余，下令美军也将纽约摧毁。本片片中所描述的情况很有可能发生，因此对观众具有一种强烈的震撼力。导演自开场十分钟之后即一直紧握气氛至终场，但开场的首十分钟却有点混乱。本片最大的特色就是全无配乐。
