简 介
单身母亲布兰达（安吉拉?巴塞特饰）带着三个年幼的孩子堪称孤苦伶仃地在冰冷的大城市芝加哥为生活打拼着。为了不让自己的三个孩子流落街头并能吃饱穿暖，布兰达日以继夜地努力工作。转眼间，这样忙碌艰苦的日子持续了好几年。直到有一天，布兰达突然被辞退，失去了工作的她也丧失了家里仅有的经济来源。曾经坚强无比的单亲妈妈此生终于第一次感到了彻底的绝望。
但就在这个时候，无助的布兰达收到了来自远方意外的惊喜——原来她那位从来没有见过面的亲生父亲刚刚去世，希望她能带着家人赶往佐治亚州参加老人的丧礼。在这个充满阳光的南部小镇里，布兰达见到了老父亲曾拥有的和睦温馨的布朗一家。渐渐地，布兰达和三个可怜的孩子被布朗一家融洽温暖的氛围所感动，并逐渐被好心的布朗一家融入其中。与此同时，当布兰达重新找回了家庭的真正含义的同时，她也遇到了自己生命中的真命天子……Video
