简　　介

　　故事发生在1526年的英国，英格兰国王亨利八世（理查德·伯顿 Richard Burton 饰）厌倦了自己的妻子，爱上了美丽的姑娘安妮（詹妮薇芙·布卓 Geneviève Bujold 饰）。然而，安妮却拒绝了亨利八世的追求。为了能够接近安妮，亨利八世提拔安妮成为了侍从女官，而国王的秘书克隆威尔（约翰·科里考斯 John Colicos 饰）为了讨国王的欢心，更是积极主动的落实国王的离婚计划，最终，国王废除了王后，强行娶了安妮为妻。
　　可是没过多久，国王又移情别恋爱上了名为珍妮（Lesley Paterson 饰）的女子，这让安妮非常的愤怒。安妮将珍妮从国王身边赶走，这一举动激怒了国王，令国王开始实行除掉安妮的计划。
