◎简 介
妈妈（凯利·普雷斯顿 Kelly Preston 饰）的有事外出让康拉德（史宾塞·布瑞斯林 Spencer Breslin 饰）和塞丽（达科塔·范宁 Dakota Fanning 饰）感到闷闷不乐，妈妈一走，变得空空荡荡的房子里除了“无聊”，再无他物。令兄妹两没有想到的是，门铃竟然响了，打开门，门外站着的不是妈妈，不是陌生人，竟然是一只戴着帽子直立行走会说英语的巨猫（麦克·梅尔斯 Mike Myers 饰）。
巨猫的到来让康拉德和塞丽感到十分快乐，它古灵精怪的性格和滑稽可笑的动作时常逗得兄妹两捧腹大笑。可是，随着时间的推移，这只巨猫的行为开始古怪和令人讨厌起来，更让兄妹两头疼的是，妈妈即将回家了，可巨猫似乎丝毫没有在此之前离开的打算。
