简 介
好莱坞计划拍摄一部讲述越战期间，美国一支精英小队前往越南东南部执行绝密任务的战争片，片名《热带惊雷》。该片耗资巨大，场面壮观，号称有史以来最贵的越战影片，并云集了塔克·斯皮德曼（本·斯蒂勒 Ben Stiller 饰）、柯克·拉扎鲁斯（小罗伯特·唐尼 Robert Downey Jr. 饰）、杰夫·波特尼（杰克·布莱克 Jack Black 饰）等过气或当红明星。为力求真实，导演达明·柯克伯恩（史蒂夫·库根 Steve Coogan 饰）甚至将剧组拉至东南亚进行拍摄。影片开拍伊始便状况不断，争议话题频出，最后还卷入当地一场真实的战争之中……
