简 介
Hope（Lady Death本名）出生于中世纪，母亲Marion是维京人，后来被父亲Matthais接到欧洲中部。Matthais是个残暴无情的领主，他母亲很快在痛苦中死去。Hope曾亲眼目睹他父亲讲人的灵魂献祭给恶魔。为了扩大战争，Matthais不断征兵，其中包括Hope的朋友Niccolo。战争结束后，新兵全部战死，瘟疫开始蔓延。很快，人群里开始盛传Matthias使用巫术等消息。
很快，当地的牧师召集了一帮愤怒的人群冲进Matthias的城堡中，正好看见Matthias在向恶魔进贡，他们杀死了Matthias，Matthais却感谢他们，他的灵魂进入地狱，成了地狱的领主，统领他送进地狱的灵魂。随后，Hope被抓，受到父亲的牵连，被以女巫罪火刑。
Hope不甘这样死去，使用了她父亲与地狱交流时用的咒语，将她传送到了地狱。
进入地狱后，很快就被她“父亲”的手下俘获，并被押送到她父亲在地狱的新城堡里。还见到了已经堕落了的Niccolo。
随后被他父亲扔入深渊，被两头狼袭击，在她击退它们之后，很快它们便臣服于她。随后她又遇到了同样仇恨Matthais的地狱铁匠Cremator，两人计划合力挑战Matthais……
