简 介
范尼（芭芭拉·史翠珊 Barbra Streisand 饰）是出生在社会底层的贫穷少女，困顿的生活并没有磨灭她向往自由的意志，无论活得多么卑微和艰难，她都坚信自己有一天能够飞上枝头变凤凰。一直以来，范尼都不懈的磨炼着技艺，希望有人能够看到她的闪光点。
终于，歌舞大王齐格飞（沃尔特·皮金 Walter Pidgeon 饰）在范尼的身上看到了她成为巨星的潜质，在齐格飞的挖掘和培养之下，范尼终于实现了梦想，成为了闪耀的巨星。然而，事业的成功却并没有给她带来满足，感情上的不顺始终困扰着她，最终化为了她的心结。即便是最为光辉闪耀的日子里，范尼也依然被痛苦和绝望所缠绕。
